| Sep 28th (Tue) Tea Ceremony Open Day
The tea ceremony club held a special open day for 1st year students who are considering joining.
A total of 22 first year students who came to have a look at the club were made more than welcome and introduced to the beauty of "Ocha". Here's hoping that the club will soon have new friends learning this graceful art of enjoying making, serving, and receiving tea together...

| Sep 7th (Tue) Examinations this way come...
There are some rather nice paintings to be found in the corridor on the second floor. And in the classroom next to them, students are in the middle of their term-end tests. This can only mean that those for all the other subjects are coming very soon. Very soon indeed...!

| Sep 3th (Fri) Dormitory Fire Drill
Today, the dormitory held a fire drill. The students and staff alike rapidly evacuated the building and assembled at the Fuji kindergarten located next door . They were then given a short talk from firemen from the Sapporo North station, who then gave them some tips on fire prevention and safety.

| Aug 30th (Mon) First Years off on Retreat
Two first years classes are heading off to Hanakawa today for a retreat. Make sure you don't get sunburnt!

| Aug 18th (Wed) Summer Holiday Comes to an End
The students, with a little spring in their steps, are back at school from today. Sapporo is without a doubt still in the grips of a hot summer, but the students are now returning to "study mode" as quickly as they can in order to move closer to their respective goals.
Today is also the very day ninety years ago when the three German sister who assisted with the founding of Fuji arrived in Sapporo. As a sign of thanks for all of the Fuji sisters who are always watching over the students, be it in heaven or here in Sapporo, a bouquet of flowers was presented to the headmistress for the convent.

| Jul 17th (Sat) School Festival Begins
Today marked the opening of the Fuji school festival. Some of the performances given by the students to encourage people to visit various shops and stalls can be seen in the pictures below. The doors will be open to guests tomorrow.

| Jul 14th (Wed) Final Preparations
With the school festival now only days away, the final preparations to make sure everything is ready are now in top gear.

| Jul 8th (Thu) School Festival Preparations
Now that the preparations for the school preparation are well and truly under way, students can be found all over the school racking their brains and thinking how they can best entertain the visitors on the big day. And...if you want to know the answer, you'll just have to turn up on the day!

| Jul 8th (Thu) First Years' Auditorium Debut
With eight days to go until the junior school chorus competition, the first year students headed off to the auditorium for some singing practice on the stage during their weekly long-homeroom class. Today was the first time for the students to feel what it is like to sing on stage at the 2000 seater auditorium. Here's hoping they don't get stage fright on the day!
