Fuji's course system
This system enables the students to choose the course that best suits their desired path in life. In this way, subjects needed for entrance exams can be covered more sufficiently.
4th years

Common course


C course
This course is designed for students who are aiming for a place in
institutions such as Tokyo University. In order for them to realise this
goal, we have created a special course which starts from 4th year, as
opposed to 5th year. In terms of curriculum content, it will be almost
identical to courses B and B1, but the pace will be noticeably quicker.


5th years
A course - Literature Based B Course - Science based
This course places an emphasis on English, Japanese and Social Studies and will build upon the students' skills in these areas in order to prepare for them for entrance into the humanities faculties of well known private universities. This course focuses on English and mathematics and is designed for students aiming for public universities or the science faculty of a private university.
6th years
A Course - Well known private universities –Humanities B1 Course B2 Course
This course places an emphasis on English, Japanese and Social Studies. Japanese classes account for 11 hours per week while English classes account for 9 hours per week. The course is designed for students aiming for the literature faculty, economics faculty or law faculties of high caliber universities both within and outside of Hokkaido such as Fuji Women's university, Waseda University, Keio University, Sophia University, Tsuda Juku University, Aoyama University and many others. In addition, this course is suited to students who wish to continue on to nursing but don't have to worry about mathematics as part of the entrance exam. It is also suitable for those who wish to study crafts or human life sciences. This course focuses on mathematics and science in addition to English and Japanese. It is designed for students whose sole 'centre examination' is maths. There are two classes of English per day, making for a total of 10 classes per week. This is the recommended course for students aiming for humanities, namely the literature, eonomics, law and teacher training faculties of Hokkaido University,Tohoku University and Ochanomizu Women's University. This course is also an option for students hoping to go to nursing school. The B2 Course includes mathematics, English, Japanese and science. There are 8 classes per week for mathematics, English and science respectively. This course is recommended for students who wish to enter the faculties of veterinarian studies, dentistry, pharmacology, science, engineering, agriculture, the medical faculty or indeed any other science based faculties at both public and private universities within and outside of Hokkaido such as Hokkaido University, Tohoku University, Obihiro University of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine, Rakuno University, Health Sciences University of Hokkaido and Hokkaido College of Pharmacy.
